Yogasanas

Yogasanas are more commonly known as ‘Yoga Postures’. When we mention the word ‘Yoga’ most people immediately associate it with these. Isha Hatha Yoga is what is known as ‘Classical Hatha Yoga’.  We  offer Yogasanas in this classical approach so you are able to experience it in its purest form.

In this course, you will learn a carefully selected sequence (brought to you through Sadhguru’s wisdom) of Yogasanas which offer you a complete physical and spiritual practice for ultimate well-being. All the Yogasanas are offered through a process with the necessary environment created for one to start getting in touch with the subtler aspects of  Yoga. When yoga is transmitted this way, then the  possibility of experiencing it beyond a posture in its true depth and dimension can happen.

Yogasanas are split into two levels happening over a total of 3 days. The  basic course takes place over 2 days and offers a sequence of 21 postures. Once this first step becomes implemented as a daily routine, then the advanced course can be taken. Only then the complete Yogasanas can be fully experienced as it was taught in its classical form.

The experience of yoga doesn’t lie in the sensations one feels in stretching the body. There is much more to be experienced. This can only be done by increasing our perception. With regular practice, we can  start experiencing  more profound states, becoming  aware of the subtler aspects of our own system. Yogasanas can be potentially a tool to raise our consciousness to increase awareness of how we live. Not just through training our minds but by directing our energies properly and following a method which is in line with the human system.

Originally all yoga was maintained through an ancient method of transmitting it in a very careful way in order to maintain its integrity without any distortion.  The purity of the practice essentially means accessing the original blueprints perceived by the yogis of the past. These are the methods they used to master their own system to go beyond their limitations. By learning these Yogasanas and receiving them through this classical method, it allows those same opportunities to be experienced by those who regularly practice them.

“There are various levels of doing asanas. You can practice these just physically, or more deeply, being aware of the breath, sensations, reverberations…”
